is it me or is it rather stupid to look up who all has access to zone by phone and send evey single one of those people a pointless voicemail. most people don't want to hang on the phone weeding through tons of voicemail just to ..oh well i dunno, it just seems stupid and makes the person into a spammer for lack of a better word..just my 2 or 1 cent

i agree with you actually

wow. bitch much. why the hell does it bother you if someone says hi. you don't want to hear it then delete it. easy as that! Even better don't bother going on zbp at all. i mean after all it's to talk to people, and that seems to bother you. hehehe So save the space for people that want to chat.

i am one of those so called spammers as you chose to refer to me as. in august i sent everyone at the time who was signed up a voice mail. and i met a lot of great people that way. it also helped me get over my shyness a bit, meet new people, brighten the days of some who had never received a voice mail before, and things like that. did you ever stop to think that all the voice mails that people are sending are because they would like to get to know you? i know it's not right to prejudge, but i'm glad i haven't taken or should i say wasted my time attempting to. you don't seem to want to make new friends. might i suggest finding a cave far away from civilization and living there?

I personally love voice mails. I have found some wonderful people who were shy to chat and felt that it was the best way to break the ice. Just my opinion!

actually, now that you guys put it like that, i guess it is not so bad. i mean it is one little voice mail after all. sorry that i was so quick to judge.

Wow! Will the complaining ever end... I personally love getting voicemails. Especially when it's Christmas or your birthday and people like Pipi leave messages wishing you well! heehee Love you Pipi! I don't understand why people are so against it personally. I will tell you what's annoying. lol A couple of years ago, people used to send me private mail with just "Hi. How are you?" even though we were both logged in and they could have just sent me a private qn. Whereas a voicemail is a form of a private qn on zbp so I don't understand the complaint. lol Oh well...

No one ever sends me voice mails. I'd love to get some of those. Then again, I'm hardly ever on ZBP, so that could be why. But I think it's a great idea.

I'm not looking for sympathy, but anyone who has some words of consolation for me in my time of mourning, due to my guide dog's retirement, I think I might need a lot of those. thank you.

ah man, this can't be compared with spam surely! People who take the time to send everyone a voicemail are lovely. I've had a few people send me voicemail who have said they've done the round.
sorry to those pending a reply atm; not snobbing you, just haven't been on in a while and now it would seem I can't go on there without talking to the admin as I am not sure how to get skype to identify itself as is now required.

Post 11 by Damia (I'm oppinionated deal with it.) on Thursday, 21-Feb-2008 6:21:29

hmm there should be a thing where it asks for a number just put one in. I put in my skype in number and it let me on...

I really don't se the problem with voicemails. I've sent voicemail to those I didn't know, and I made a good friend that way. It's nothing to gripe about!

To poster 1:
Bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch...that's what I'm hearing.
This, right here, could be considered spam.

goodness! I like getting voicemail. I don't see the problem. it's a way to get to know one another, and isn't that what the site is for? to meet other people? at least that's why I signed up, to make new friends, and just have fun!

I agree.

Post 16 by TheAsianInvasion (The Zone's invader) on Wednesday, 05-Mar-2008 22:07:19

I agree, getting voice mail is a good way to get over being shy. I have met lots of cool people thrue voice mail. haha Shea, I agree, if you don't want voice mail, just don't bother signing up for ZBP. aftir all, ZBP is a place to talk to people.
here's a thought,
what if there was no voice mail. what if you needed to ask someone something really important, and you didn't have anything to write what that person said? you would want a voice mail rite? and you don't have that option? oh well. but, since we do have voice mail, you can get information without having to write it down. easier eh? well, maybe not for you, but it may be for us.

good point ray!

I do agree with pippy, but can also understand emo dude's point of view. If that person sincerely wanted to get to know you then I could understand that and respect that but I don't respect those who send voicemails/pms/qns in bulk in hopes that they will meet someone. Won't fly with me. I am always open to talk to anyone, but since i've never gotten a voicemail can't really say. On another note, for those of you who might be reading this thread, zbp is nothing but a bunch of sex talking creeps as far as I'm concerned, also with the fact that I don't like being called a lady/mam or woman. I have legit bitches here. This is one reason I don't go on there is because of horrendous audio quality. Come on people, talking about who is going to screw one another gets kind of old.

Post 19 by TheAsianInvasion (The Zone's invader) on Thursday, 20-Mar-2008 18:45:48

but, that's not all that goes on there. I've been there at times where it's just good plane talking. still fun even with out all the sex crap. sure, maybe most of the time it's like that, but not all the time

Post 20 by louiano (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Thursday, 20-Mar-2008 21:58:15

lol I remember when Pipi sent a voicemail. I repplied and then no replies back. I do try to ge back to every voicemail i get though and would agree you get to meet interesting people.

Post 21 by audioadict (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Monday, 16-Jun-2008 1:12:23

Ah voicemail. That's primarily why I go on zbp anyway. I love getting voicemails from any user. It's so exciting.

Post 22 by blindndangerous (the blind and dangerous one) on Monday, 16-Jun-2008 4:26:49

I never get voice mails. O wll. I'm hardly on ZBP anyway, but the times that I do get voice mails, I have met some really cool people thanks to ZBP. If u don't want to get them, don't sign up for the service then. Simple as that. O, and cody, its not all sex talk on their.
